After ive completed my face makeup my face tends to be all one color and had little dimension to it, so whats the cure for that? Bronzer and Blush! while working with bronzer you do have to be extremely careful because if you pick the wrong shade or if you over do it you can come out looking a bit like an Oompa Loompa or in other words ORANGE! and that's never a flattering look. The book helped me on how to apply the bronzer and where exactly to apply it.
I picked out my favorite bronzer which is Hoola by Benefit. I also grabbed my favorite brush for bronzer and blush which is a blush brush by ecotools and it is "large and flat" (Brown) like the book suggests.
I followed the directions from the book starting at the apples of my cheeks then, onto the nose and chin ending with dusting it onto my chest to make sure everything was even and my face wasn't darker than my neck and chest. It suggests "turn the face to either side to make sure the color is well blended" (Brown) and this is a crucial step because you always want to check that you makeup is even and is blended well.
Now that my cheeks were all brown and bronzed they needed a bit of pink aka blush.
The book give specific guidelines as how to apply the blush just as it did for the bronzer.
I used a mix of two eye shadows as my blush because I just wasn't feeling any of my blushes for the look I was going for. Eye shadows are a great substitution for blush if you don't have any that are the right color or if you just don't have any in general. I again used the blush brush by ecotools to apply the blush following the steps in the book.
The final look after I added blush "to the apples of the cheeks" (Brown) following the book I blended it into my hair line.
Bronzer and Blush are a great way to put some color back into your face if your careful. Overall I think the blush and bronzer went quite well and I didn't end up looking like Snooki clown so all is good!
Question for all: Is there anytime where you have over bronzed or but too much blush on?

Looks great! I can't wait to try this, I have fairly pale skin and can never get the right blush or bronzing. I have had snooki moments, and had my cheeks so red I looked like the guy from saw :). Thanks for the tips!
