Flavored Water

"Water is crucial to your health. it makes up 60% of your body weight" (Fulcher 176). The disadvantages of not drinking enough water are fatigue, dizziness, muscle cramps, bad breath and chills. Some benefits of water are that it energizes muscles, makes your skin glow and helps cleanse your kidneys.

I’ve really never been a huge fan of water. I’ve always wanted to make bland water, flavorful. The only way to make water tastier is to add flavorings. Most flavorings have some much sugar and artificial flavoring, that’s not healthy. I wanted to find something that made my water more appealing, that was healthy, easy and quick.

This is a simple and easy way of making your water have more flavor. Throwing thing into water is quite easy. Also apart from the simple ingredients and easy making. The health benefits of water are needed everyday in our life, but by adding other simple and healthy ingredients, the water becomes even better. Strawberries are a great source of vitamin C. Cucumbers have many B vitamins. Lemons lower the risk of stroke. Mint leaves freshen breath and promotes digestion.

In the book, Be Good to Your Body--Healthy Eating and Fun Recipes by Roz Fulcher. The author gives the reader quick, easy, and healthy recipes. This book is originally for young children, but the reason I like this book is because the food takes a minimum amount of time to prepare, and it is healthy. This book also has some unique recipes, that can come in handy for all ages. Such as this amazing water favoring water.

This book is not only filled with great recipes and ideas of foods and drinks but also includes information about what you’re eating and interesting facts about the different foods:

"Every system in your body depends on water" (Fulcher 176).
"Kids actually require more water than adults because of growing and a higher metabolic rate" (Fulcher 176).

  2. Prabjot this looks absolutely tasty! For me, water is my life. I don't drink soda as the carbonation is just to much for me to handle. Whenever I go out to eat or even just eat at home, I always get water to drink. I love lemon water and often ask for that whenever it is possible. I have also tried orange water, but never cucumber. I am going to have to try this one day. To answer your question, no eating healthy has always come easy for me. By doing so, it allows for me to always feel good and helps me prevent getting sick. Due to your drink looking so good, I am going to have to try this out one day. Thank you!
