Nutrition

An essential part of working out is your diet. You can only get so much from lifting weights. My overall goal is to gain weight, not the bad weight. I want to gain muscle weight and in order to do this I must consume more calories than I burn. (Kroczaleski) Since I am burning calories by going to the gym I must have 6-8 meals a day(Krozaleski). I will do this by making a meal plan in order to get enough protein and nutrients in at the right time. Below I have made an example of a meal plan through meals from my book.

My first meal will consist of a high source of carbohydrates with my banana and oats. With this I have a fast releasing protein coming from my eggs to help my body recover from the day before(Krocaleski).
My second meal will be my in-between meal that I have before my lunch. This consists of flaxseed oil which provides healthy omega-fats(Kroczaleski).It also has Mass gainer, which is a supplement that is used to help gain good weight.

My third meal will contain great amounts of carbs. I will eat lean fish which is a slow releasing protein that will give me the high amount of proteins I need to gain muscle and strength(Kroczaleski).
Another in-between meal.
This is another high protein meal that I need to get to my protein count in the day. I will have this 1-2 hours before my workout.
Post workout I have another in-between meal that helps me get in the nutrients I still need.

Casein protein is a great supplement to take right before bed. Its another slow-releasing protein that will help you recover while you sleep. (Kroczaleski)

Question: When have you ever had to change you diet in order to improve your health?
